For Sale
350 miles – $109,000.00 Up for sale is this recently complete Ford GT Tribute. Built by an individual in the GT40 community that has assembled five of these before, this vehicle is turn-key and ready to run. Less than 400 miles on the build. While it may look like it is straight from 1966, this vehicle offers many modern features that greatly increase its usability. The ZRS (Zero Scrub Radius) chassis was designed by race engineer Jim Griffith and features suspension derived from that of a C5 Corvette but with much of the anti-dive and anti-squat eliminated to compensate for the half-ton weight reduction over the C5 (weight approx 2500 lbs). QA1 Aluma Matic adjustable coil-overs smooth out the ride. Large 17-inch Team III AC III wheels, 8 front, and 10 rear allow for much more modern rubber and are able to accommodate the four-piston Wilwoods (SLC56 front DPC56 rear) and 13-inch rotors. Tires are 245/40R17 front / 315/35R17 rear and show minimal wear. The body is finished in a GM Stealth Grey with two percent CB12L Crystal Glass, with four layers of clear coat. Exterior lighting is handled by halogen headlights with all other lights being LED. Southco latches keep the large clamshells in place. The 302 based V8 has been stroked out to 331 cubic inches, with aluminum heads, Comp roller cam with roller rockers, and features Inglese EFI individual throttle bodies that replicate the look of a set of vintage Webber’s. A Holley HP ECM runs the engine and features electronic ignition (Holley Dual Sync 6AN). The engine exhales through a beautiful custom-made stainless steel bundle of snakes. The engine makes approximately 430 horsepower. Power is sent through an inverted cable shift Porsche 996 G96 transaxle with KEP adapter. Inside, classic brass ring seats are fitted and air conditioning helps you stay cool. Smith gauges are framed by a removable Grant steering wheel. The carpeted flooring is accompanied by Wilwood pedals that are set up for easy heel-toeing. The vehicle was titled in New Jersey and is accepted in all 50 states. All paperwork and invoices are included in the extensive build guide. Contact me for more info.
